Biking

Discover the town on two wheels. Go for leisurely rides or full exploration of the town with Ezy Ride Mudgee. They offer two types of electronic bicycles you can take for rides to discover the locality. This eco-friendly and pollution free transportation guarantees fun as you take on the sights and sounds of the town center and historic streets. For longer rides visit the countryside and explore Mudgee’s popular wineries and cellar-doors.

Picnic

Surrounded by magnificent lands and equally good produce, make the most out of the warm weather and the outdoors. Bring the feast outside and on the ground with a picnic. Mudgee Gourmet and Hampers has a great selection of unique hampers curating the best produce and wines. Otherwise you can create your own and handpick individual products such as nuts, cheese, wines, and more from the shop located at Vinifera cellar door. Lay down the mats in a lush and shaded picnic area on the banks of the Cudgegong River, the picturesque Bunnamagoo Estate where you BYO picnic and just order one of their fine wines.

Tapas and Wine

Cap the day with a delightful treat to the palate with Lowe’s Twilight Tapas. Every Friday evening from January to March the terrace at Lowe cellar door holds a Spanish inspired night with tapas and wine. Find your spot and settle in with a good bottle as watching the summer days fade from the hills.

Camping

For more outdoor adventure, Mudgee Riverside Tourist Park lets you set up your tents and gears to spend days and nights with nature. Centrally located, this cosy tourist park has quick access to restaurants, shopping district and the historic CBD and nearby attractions.
