Mudgee Classic

Set on April 29 & 30, 2023, the Mudgee Classic is making a comeback. The event is a road and gravel cycling event that can be participated by all cycler levels.
There were four original levels or categories for this event but for this year, a special new category has been added. The Dirty Mudgee Gravel Ride (55km). This special gravel course will showcase Mudgee’s spectacular rural scenery including the region’s impressive vineyards. There will be fast sections with the smooth rural lanes, trails, and country roads with up to 700 meter of vertical climbing.
The other four categories are, the Maxi Classic (175 kilometres), the Challenge Classic (125 kilometres), the Rouleurs Classic (65 kilometres), and the Social Classic (35 kilometres).
The Maxi Classic is a Gran Fondo that will take participants to some of the breathtaking and undulating sceneries that can possibly be experienced on two wheels.
The Challenge Classic is ideal for those who would like to test their endurance. This long-distance ride is for those who are not quire ready for the full Gran Fondo experience.
The Rouleurs Classic on the other hand is a mid-distance ride that will take cyclists across Mudgee region’s fines sceneries.
For a more relaxed ride, there’s the Social Classic. The ride will take participants around rolling hills and vineyards.
The event will be at the Church Street Mudgee. For more details visit the Mudgee Classic website or email info@mudgeeclassic.com.au.
